Rizal Philippines Good Friday April 3, 2015
We biked yesterday, bisikileta iglesia, and one of the churches we visited in lieu of Padre Pio in Eastwood was the Virgen de la Strada near La Vista. That came after Sta Clara church. We had breakfast too at Jollibee at Petron, a few meters away from the church.
The columbarium at the said church features the following:
1. A plaza with marble land plants, fountain decor
2. Plant box in between some column
3. 3 columns near the church, 3 columns near the front;
4. Only 3 layerrs max for clean and unobstructed view
5. Floor tiles in between columns/pathwalk
6. Stone (false because they are tiles) at the end and back
7. Metal end caps for bolting the cover to the crypt body.
Holy Gardens, La Union, Calamba, Greenhills, San Carlos City, ash crypts, as repository of cremains as required by the Roman Catholic Church and Sanitation Code Chapter XXI as implemented by DOH

Columbarium at Transfiguration of Jesus Christ at MLQuezon in Mahabang Parang

Rizal Philippines | January 7, 2015
The altar at the northwest side of the basement
There must be more than 10,000 ash crypts in the basement of the Transfiguration of Risen Jesus Christ owned by the Roman Catholic Church, Archdiocese of Antipolo at Mahabang Parang, Antipolo City. They are conventionally built measuring 40 x 40 x 70 cm. There must be about 14 x walls back to back, and 2 x2 walls of 45 columns by 6 layers. That would be a lot of ash crypts to sell in the future.
One side wall columbarium, 6 layers 25 columns

The hidden columbarium in a valley
Would you notice that it is a columbarium?
It took me a while to locate the cash crypt at Immaculate Concepcion Heart of Mary in Taktay Road in Antipolo City. Nestled in a depression in the mountainous area beside the church is the columbarium From the church, or from the entrance, you would not suspect that there is a columbarium. Nicely built, nicely designed/planned and executed.
Hidden in a valley
40 x40 cm x 70 ash crypts facing the outside
Inside concentric ash crypts of only 3 levels
Outer ring is of 5 levels
The inner ring faces a plaza
The exhaust vent at the rooftop for natural ventilation
Garden at the center of ash crypt plaza
View of main church from the columbarium
